1:1 English Tutoring

Individual support for confident reading, writing and communication.

Alongside Forest Lights workshops, I offer one-to-one English tuition for children and teenagers who would benefit from individual support.​  As a qualified and experienced secondary English teacher, I have more than eight years' experience teaching English in the UK, South Korea and Switzerland, including several years  experience teaching GCSE and A Level English.

I can support students with:

• English reading and writing

• Academic writing and essay skills

• Humanities subjects taught in English

• Structuring and expressing ideas clearly

• English as an additional language

• Building confidence in written and spoken English

• Preparation for GCSE or A Level exams

Sessions are shaped around the individual student. My aim is not simply to help with the next assignment, but to help young people develop the skills and confidence to work more independently.

Practical Information - CHF 90 per hour.

I offer a free initial consultation before tuition begins.  This gives us the opportunity to discuss your child's needs, current studies and goals, and to plan and discuss how I can best support them.
